iFire on iPhone (fire alerts!!!)
One day I left my phone in my car under a burning afternoon. I just want to grab a couple of things from the local store, Coles and don't mind if the phone is with me. With the glass window is tightly shut, and the outside temperature on that very day is 40°C, the temperature inside must be unforgiving.
Once I grab the phone, it was very hot. I'm using TomTom GPS for iPhone and once I try to execute the app, this is what I've seen on the screen.
Not sure about the Chinese/Japan wording on 'Slide to unlock' key. So people, it is worth to own a Smartphone especially when we are in a fire emergency!

A quick guide to your tire care
Replaced your tire recently? Did you made a correct decision which tire should be placed at which side?
This is what i got from the tire expert when they replace my worn
Tire for my first car. They said the tires at front side is more crucial than the back. The reason is, front tires have to bear more load (engine and when break paddle is pushed) most of the time.
It always a good practice to check your wheel balancing. But how? First, find a straight, even route and set your steering straight as well. Drive the straight runway and see how was your car doing. If your car moved forward straight, then it is OK. But if your car tend to manouver to the right or left, you must take your car to the balancing workshop. Here in Newcastle NSW, they will charge from $8.5 - $15 per tire. The failure to do so will make the tire's thread worn out quickly.

What is voxel?
Most of us familiar with PIXEL or the smallest addressable element in a display device. We bought our cameras and that is the term that differentiate their quality as well as their price.
Look at the picture below for example,
Look at the picture below for example,
While pixel is used for 2-dimensional (2D) image, the term VOXEL is designated for a 3D image. Take microCT scan for instance, the scanned images seems like typical 2D image but they are not. In CT scan images, all of the slices actually having their width, length and height. This is the reason why the images can be stacked up again to generate a 3D model out of a patient bone.

A voxel is actually the 3D definition of the discussed pixel. It is best defined as volumetric pixel. The picture below explains what is meant by a voxel, a box in blue color.

Neat tricks for Windows Excel users [keyboard shortcut keys]
Here I will show you some shortcut keys for Microsoft Excel users. Trust me, it might look like nothing but surely very useful. This trick seems not beneficial for those who deal with 3x3 table, but the people who mess around with 100, 1000 or ten of thousand rows and columns will find these keys a little handy.
I use Excel for more than 15 years, but I never know this shortcut and I think it is good to share. One day I saw my supervisor in a matter of second build the graph from the same data that we are working on. I can remember that for me, a lot of effort has been put onto scrolling and scrolling the mouse to the very last row.
All you need is to open your .xls, .xlsx or .csv file (any file that can be executed by Excel) and your keyboard. We are not going to use our mouse in this tutorial. The mouse I can say useful when we deal with small number of rows and columns. But just imagine if you have hundreds of rows and columns, the mouse usage will be cumbersome and in fact will take so much of your time scrolling down to the last point of your data.
Let say we have a table like this, (4x101)
I have counted, if you want to select from the top to the bottom of the first column (Legend) with your normal mouse it will take three times of scrolling stroke. That will be 3 secs at minimum.
With this trick, you will take less than 1 sec to select your data from the same box on the top (Legend) to the last row (row 101)
With the Legend box selected, now press [Shift + Ctrl + Down arrow].
Amazing huh! Now, some extra tips of these keys. If you want to select the entire column, just hit [Shift + Ctrl] and your [right arrow key].
You should also remember that, with SHIFT + CTRL + ARROW KEYS will select all your data of columns and row, but with only SHIFT + ARROW KEYS will select a box to another box.
That's all for now, don't forget to share it with others.
